Self Portrait looking back in time from my first series with musical instruments in place of people and Rafael’s’ Scholars of Athens, to my current digital collage work.
This self-portrit was driven by the loss of an older work, on the easel in the background which went missing after a plane ride. That watercolor had been a parady on Raphael’s scholars of Athens and had been the culminating work of a series completed during college years. This moment in time protrays Alana moving on to the digital world but still remembering oil and watercolor painting with fondness.
Shipping times will be agreed upon at time of order. Some pieces in certain sizes will need to be printed (2 weeks turnaround) and then painted over (another week) before they can go in the post.
