This new series changes the narrative on aging, one person and one portrait at a time.
All new portraits will be people over 75 years of age. They are done by Alana for free, with the understanding that should she want to produce them for shows in whatever size or media she wants that will be acceptable. Should the person want a copy for themselves then the cost will depend on the size of the final piece, but should be in the range of €200-400. They take approximately a week to complete, including the time for the interview and to exchange the initial pictures. Everything is done digitally – NO SITTING FOR THE PORTRAIT NEEDED.
