As I worked on the Transformation series in 01 I realized that the center of the work, as is often true of the center idea in any lesson, were important in their own right.  There is something solid about the circle on the flat field of white or a color.  From these emerged the hero’s journeys and, not to seem trite to focus on Odysseus etc I started with the hero’s journey of a tree.

As with all my work – they can be ordered in 20x20cm, 40x40cm or 60x60cm, all somewhat different due to the choices of the buyer and my own as I overpaint some aspects in oil.
